Lauren joined the first violin section of the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra in 2009 while also working as a full-time orchestra director in New York State’s Capitol Region. She was a violist for the Bard Conducting Institute Orchestra and spent six summers playing violin in the American Institute of Musical Studies Festival Orchestra in Graz, Austria. Lauren performed as both violist and violinist for the Ridgefield and Lancaster Symphony Orchestras, the Riverside Symphonia, and The Philly POPS. Lauren recorded music with NFL films for Super Bowls 50, LI, and LII, and she can often be found onstage with the Maryland Lyric Opera Orchestra, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Delaware Symphony, and Charleston Symphony. She is a frequent performer for Candlelight Concerts by Fever in venues throughout DC.

Lauren is a member of the Metropolitan Washington D.C. Federation of Musicians, Local 161-710 of the American Federation of Musicians. A violinist at heart, she also enjoys playing viola!

Lauren has performed in string quartets and trios for special events for over a decade. She plays regularly with string ensembles that have been repeatedly recognized by Wedding Wire Couple’s Choice and Best of the Knot Awards.
